The short version

Kurtos is a market-stall simulation game. It makes no network requests, has no accounts, no advertising and no analytics. Everything the app remembers lives only on your own device, in Apple's standard on-device storage (SwiftData and UserDefaults), and is never sent anywhere.

What stays on your device

Stall progressYour markets, nights, cakes served, caramel streaks and takings, stored on-device with SwiftData so your progress survives a relaunch.
SettingsSound, music, haptics and appearance preferences, stored on-device with UserDefaults.
Stall portraitIf you take a photo or choose one from your library for your stall's wooden sign, Kurtos shrinks it to a small 32×32 pixel-art image on your device. The original photo is never uploaded, copied or shared off the device.
Evening reminderIf you turn this on, Kurtos schedules a local notification on your device for the hour you choose. No data leaves the device to schedule it.

What Kurtos does not do

No account creation, no sign-in, no in-app purchases, no real-money transactions, no third-party SDKs, no advertising identifiers, no analytics, no crash reporting services, and no data sharing of any kind. Kurtos does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.

Camera and photo library

Kurtos asks for camera access only when you choose "Take a photo" for your stall portrait, and for photo library access only when you choose a picture from your library instead. If you decline, every other part of the app keeps working normally. Photos are processed entirely on-device and are never transmitted anywhere.

Children

Kurtos contains no mature content, no user-generated content, no chat and no purchases, and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
